Universal suffrage and World Parliament

Il y a plus de 3 millénaires qu'est apparue l'idée apparemment fantaisiste de décider qui a raison en comptant ceux qui sont pour et ceux qui sont contre plutôt que de laisser le plus fort ou le plus habile décider.

The apparently funny idea to let people decide by counting those for or those against rather than those stronger or more intelligent is more than 3,000 years old.

L'idée de faire voter tous les citoyens de la
planète est beaucoup plus récente.  Les projets sont encore peu connus mais ils sont parfois très élaborés.

The idea to let all people in the world vote is far more recent.  The projects are not very well known but sometimes really sophisticated.
